Join us for our Annual Title I Parent Meeting tomorrow in the HMS Library. There will be two sessions: 10 AM and 3:30 PM. Join us as we discuss plans for HMS and what it means to be a Title I school. We will also have someone on hand from the tech department during the 3:30 session to help parents set up Rooms and PowerSchool Parent Portal accounts! We hope you can join us!

Please take a moment to review afternoon car line procedures. We need your help in order to keep your child safe during dismissal. Please form 2 lines, one on either side of the parking spaces. Wait for your student to load your car, then pull foward to exit. DO NOT PASS OTHER VEHICLES. If your child is not ready to load your vehicle, we may ask you to pull into a parking spot or circle back around so that we don't hold up traffic. This will allow traffic to continue moving along Commercial Street and allows the buses to exit when they are ready. Thank you for your cooperation!
We are just two weeks away from the start of school. We are so excited to start the 24-25 school year with you. If you have not completed PowerSchool Registration for your student, please do so ASAP. Students will NOT be given a schedule until registration is completed.
Please take note of a few important dates:
-Tuesday, August 6th, 3pm - 6pm: Open House. We will also have a parent meeting in the lunchroom at 5pm for 6th grade and new-to-Hanceville students.
-Thursday, August 8th: First day for students with last names A-K
-Friday, August 9th: First day for students with last names L-Z
